Dr. Jerry Giddings grew up in Southern California and moved to Washington shortly before starting college. He attended Green River Community College and Pacific Lutheran University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in biology. He graduated from the University of Washington Dental School in 1987.

After dental school Dr. Giddings was employed as a dentist for Indian Health Services, mostly working with the Muckleshoot Tribe. In 1990 he purchased his dental practice and moved to the Olympia area. Dr. Giddings is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association and the Thurston-Mason Dental Society.

Jerry has been married to the Love of His Life, Gayle, for 27 years. They have two children, Ali and Jerry Jr., and two grandsons. Jerry and Gayle have been members of Sojourn Community Church for 20 years and Jerry serves on the elder board. Dr. Giddings enjoys time with his family, skiing, playing softball and hanging out at the lake.

Dr. Giddings considers his dental practice to be a family affair with patients from 6 months old to 101 years old. One of his greatest thrills with dentistry is having patients who he started seeing when they were children now bringing their kids in for their dental care. Dr. Giddings has a dedicated staff working with him. Most have been a part of his team for over 10 years. Our goal is to treat everyone like family and give quality dental care in a gentle, friendly environment.

Staff Bios
Maggie is a registered dental assistant. She was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. She has lived in Spokane, Alaska, and in the Virgin Islands. 5 of her 7 children were born in the Carribbean. Maggie really enjoyed the tropical weather there. She also has 12 grandchildren.
After 18 years working as a stay at home mom, Maggie went back to school and graduated from the dental assisting program at South Puget Sound Community College in 2002. She began working for Dr. Giddings that same year.

Maggie loves the Lord and loves to lead music in her church. She loves nature hikes, scuba diving, travelling, art, oil painting, and laughter. She delights in spending time with her kids, grandkids, and very large close-knit extended family.

Maria is a certified dental assistant. She is a graduate from South Puget Sound Community College. She came on board to work with Dr. Giddings in 1998.
Maria is married to her childhood sweetheart. They have been married since 2000 and have 2 beautiful daughters.
Maria loves to bake goods and enjoys crafts with her girls. She is a proud military dependent that loves the great northwest.

Pearl was born in Texas, but has lived in Lacey for the majority of her life. Pearl is a registered dental assistant and graduated from the dental assisting program at South Puget Sound Community College in 2004. She got her first dental job right out of school. Besides taking a year break teaching English in South Korea, she has been in the dental field since. She made the transition to working the front office aspects in 2012. Pearl has been in our office since 2014.
Pearl is married and has one son. During her free time she loves to travel and hang out with her family.

Tammy was born in Fort Huachuca, AZ and travelled around the world as an “Army Brat.” She married her husband Rick in 1979 and have two children (Adam and Faith), and three grandchildren (Alicia, Christian, and Kaylie).
Recently moving to Washington from Arizona with her family in September 2016 she joined our office in January 2017 as our financial coordinator. She comes to us with 15+ years of dental experience.
When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Rocky exploring all that Washington has to offer.

Jessica recently moved to the Olympia area from Redmond. She has been with us since January 2017. Jessica went to hygiene school in Philadelphia and has been a hygienist since 2006.
In her spare time, you can usually find Jessica following her daughter around the golf course or working on learning a new skill.
